The best approach will be to use SteelScript to generate reports to extract metrics rather than scrape from the Web UI as done in the past.
We have some documentation and examples on how this can be accomplished here:
for the column selection, an easy way is to use the SteelScript VM which provides a UI view of all the available columns. You can read about how to get the VM installed here:
Thanks for the help both of you.
I'll look into the Trueplot, but I think Mike's VM with the column ID's will give me the ID's I need to extract the correct information.
Mike, I would just like to make a note for the Steelscript/Appresponse team, it may be helpful to have those report column ID's listed somewhere in the documentation for AR11, similar to how AR9 documentation listed the metric ID's used to pull data.
This would help with figuring out how to pull the right data points, without having to access/setup a VM to do that.
Follow up to this, in AR 9.6 there was a metric called ARTI (Initial Application Response Time) that provided the time between a TCP server receiving a application layer request and the beginning of a response.
Is there a similar report column available in AR 11? The name may have changed between releases.
