If i understand what i think you are asking, which is, what is the compatibility with Windows 2008 R2 / Windows 2012 R2 severs from a Mobile Client (that has been deployed from a SMC)?
The latest version of the SMC / deployed Mobile Client which is 5.0, fully supports SMB3.1.1 and below., That means we support all Windows Server versions upto and including Windows Server 2016.
Remembering that the mobile client is really just acting as a "Client Side SteelHead", so it requires no domain joins or specific integrations other than those features to be enabled.
The Server Side Steelhead would of course need to be running the required RiOS version (9.5 supports SMB 3.1.1 for example) and joined to the domain as per normal Domain Integration.
So in summary, Physical/Virtual SteelHead deployment is "as normal" for deployment into Windows domain integration.
SMC configuration and deployment of mobile client is just enabling the features to work in conjuntion with your physical/virtual steelhead environment.
To fully answer your question
SMB 3.02 which was used by Windows Server 2012R2 was support by the SMC mobile clients in 4.7
SMB 2.1 which was used by Windows Server 2008R2 was support by the SMC mobile clients back around 4.0.3 approximately.
