- delete eventually installed RSP Packages (deletes the config, but not the packages itself)
just in case you might sell one of these boxes in the future and want to make sure ALL you're stuff is gone :-)
This is incorrect. Please login to support.riverbed.com and view KB S14715 which states "The reset factory command clears the data store"
Yes it will give you a clean sheet including the primary interface.
SteelHead appliance requires encryption, including SSL optimization and data store encryption, a secure, common store called the secure vault is available for the storage of keys. It is better to clear the secure-vault if factory reset doesn't help and sometimes it wont. This command also reboot the appliance.
