SteelCentral UCExpert 6.0 is now open to beta customers to evaluate the product.  This release is focused on providing global visibility for Microsoft Lync/Skype for Business call performance by location and user.  By leveraging the Microsoft SDN API, UCExpert is able to collect, process and visualize end user experience for all calls made for all users everywhere they reside. 

 

Key Features:

  • Call failure and media performance dashboards by location and group.
  • Adoption views illustrating usage patterns over time
  • Detailed drill down views for specific calls and media streams including application sharing and video.
  • Rich detail into end user behavior and platform information (e.g. Wireless/Wired connection, Microphone device)
  • Hop by Hop layer 3 media path

Beta Prerequisites

  • Lync 2010, 2013 or Skype for Business 2015 on-premise environment (or partner hosted)
  • SDN Manager server (freely available from Microsoft)
  • UCExpert 6.0 is delivered as a virtual appliance or can be deployed on a Linux OS server.
